Not long ago, the new I-85 Express lanes (HOT lanes) were launched in an effort to reduce traffic during peak commute hours. The idea is that commuters pay a small toll to use the express lanes and get to their destination faster. You need a Peach Pass, which is linked to a credit card, to use the lanes.
